βDiana De Jesus has joined the team as our General Manager!! She's in charge of running the day-to-day to make sure we get sh*t doneβso I can spend most of my time doing what I do best (getting the business known, in short).
Her first big project is to make sure our motherf*cking book is getting the launch it deserves.

This is a massive move for me; I never really thought I'd hire a team after my disastrous experience of burning out while running my first marketing agency. I had built a team of three and felt so much pressure to make money.

A lot has changed since then. Mainly, I am not taking things that seriously anymore, and I've learned to channel demandβinstead of trying to create it.
β
But enough about me.

I met Diana when we both worked for Hothar from 2017 to 20. She was in Customer Success, and I was in Marketing. We never worked together directly, but I've always been very impressed by her drive, her no-bullsh*t attitude, and her smarts.

We kept in touch, of course, and she was at the very top of my list of people to contact about this General Manager role. I sent her a nonchalant WhatsApp to test the waters, and I wasn't expecting much at all. After all, she was doing her own thing, and I didn't think she'd be interested.

It turns out I was wrong. We had a call a couple of days later. Within the first couple of minutes, the "interview" turned into our first working session. And we both knew it was just meant to happen.

Diana joined only three weeks ago, but she's already made my life so much easier and my mental load much more bearable.

In short, she's f*cking brilliant, and I just can't wait for you to get to know her.
