Another update about my book | STFO 🤘


Last Friday, I brought my daughter to our local library. My main goal was to find other books from Julia Donaldson (you know, she wrote The Gruffalo) to read. My secondary goal was to print the working manuscript of my book in order to have a look at it from a fresh perspective:

The last time I shared an update about it, I told you I had paid $36,000 to Scribe Media to help me write and publish a book, but the company declared bankruptcy in June 2023, leaving me and many other authors without support or refunds:

I had lost my momentum entirely.

But I'm happy to report I've made progress, and I'll be soon ready to have beta readers take a look at the draft and give me spicy feedback.

Who I'm writing this book for: People who've got their hands in marketing but have been burnt by the gurus/marketing culture and feel overwhelmed/in doubt. They could be working in-house, running their own marketing-related business serving clients, or be reluctant marketers (they do marketing, but they don't consider themselves marketers—creatives, digital, etc).

Aim of the book: To help them stand the f*ck out so they're less overwhelmed, have more clarity, feel more joy in their life. The methodology will help them by giving them a plan to follow.

Methodology: Most guides are for giants with big budgets, full of vague steps, based on the lucky few like Apple, or just plain dishonest. After over 1,000 hours of research, I've distilled a process that's truly for the rest of us—backed by science, focusing on human behavior, and, above all else, honest. I'm covering the core problems we're all facing (figure out what to sell, where to win, who to focus on, what sets you apart, how to get better leads, why people should care, or what to say).
