This is how much I spent on my redesign | STFO 🤘
I started this week with my rebrand's before and after; I then explained why I made it happen and why I've picked a French rooster as a mascot. Yesterday, I shared the full timeline of the project—which started much earlier than you may think. Today, I want to share how much I've spent on that redesign. Creative direction session with Hillary Weiss: $1,500 Photoshoot, use of studio, makeup artist, and photo editing: $1,100 Visual identity and brand kit design: $6,300 Framer template development: $2,093 Total: $10,993 Was this worth it? Yes. I don't need to know whether the change will bring more qualified leads because it was never really the point. Even though this project took half a year to complete, I feel I managed it in a very lean way. I could have easily spent $25k+ on this rebrand for similar results. Hiring Martin Ollivere was definitely the best decision for this entire project; he knew me and my "vibe" very well. And he didn't f*ck around to deliver something quick. I've spent "only" $6,300 with him because we agreed I would sing his praises if things turned out well. In my opinion, hiring a Framer developer to create a couple of components for the new site wasn't worth it. I ended up redoing everything from scratch because it just didn't feel right. Anyway, that's it for this week and the focus on my redesign. A big thank-you to everyone who sent me replies and feedback. I'll try to come back to you soon. Love ya, |
